The KeyMo is not a suppressor but an adapter. The OSS is pretty solid, and new technology. Some good choices, and great advice already. KeyMo is extremely appealing because I wouldn't be married to one suppressor and have a lot more options for muzzle devices, IE I could get my favorite muzzle device and then decide which suppressor(s) I like the most. ![]() OSS is really appealing for the decent flash reduction, can use it on more than just an AR and low impact parts due to less blowback, I see myself getting the 762 ti can. I like the surefire for the flash suppression, but would likely be a dedicated 556 can only for ARs, but the trainer and blank firing adapter are great for training. Pros: Can use a 13.7 / 13.9 barrel, widest options for suppressor and muzzle device choicesĬons: Weight (due to keymo adapter), blowback (depends on suppressor) Pros: Little to no blowback, weight (ti model), will work with non-ARs I get down the road (especially if I opt for the 762 ti can), less part wear due to little to no blowbackĬons: Would need to go with a 14.5" barrel, terrible flash from footage I've seen even with the flash hider models Pros: Flash suppression w/ and w/o the can, durability, trainers and blank firing adapter is a big plus, can use a 13.7 / 13.9" barrel One that's a cheapo built and another ultralight. ![]() This is going on a 556, but I do plan on getting 6MM ARC and 300BLK down the road including that I have a 22lr. Finally pulled the budget together for the rest of my dream rifle build and am a bit torn on the muzzle device.

This type of early encryption was used throughout Ancient Greece and Rome for military purposes. Symbol replacement encryption is “non-standard,” which means that the symbols require a cipher or key to understand. One of the earliest forms of encryption is symbol replacement, which was first found in the tomb of Khnumhotep II, who lived in 1900 BC Egypt.
Along with building one’s own tracks and racing on them, there are also community-built tracks to partake in. There are over 20 modules which can be customized with different colors and styles while various obstacles like the Hungry Cobra, T-Rex Escape and Spider Ambush can be used to spice things up. ![]() This tool-set allows for building tracks from different modules, which can be bent, stretched or twisted in a number of ways to form different loops and jumps. Six environments are touted for the final release with over 40 tracks in total. Some of the environments you’ll be racing through include Garage, an abandoned car shop littered with tires and parts that make for fun obstacles Skyscraper, a construction site with different floors, including an outside perspective overlooking the city College Campus with a classroom, library and science lab Skatepark with its graffiti, half-pipes and ramps (not to mention a basketball half-court) and Track Room, which is completely empty and allows complete freedom in building one’s own track layout. ![]() Throw down a Hot Wheels track and suddenly, you’ve got a perilous race course on your hands. The approach to Hot Wheels Unleashed’s track design is pretty unique – since you’re racing in miniature vehicles, normal everyday rooms turn into giant sprawling environments. There’s only support for two players but it’s still a nice thing to have at launch. But there’s also support for split-screen local multiplayer, allowing people to compete against each other from the comfort of their own couch. Online support is nice, though we’re yet to learn more about the challenges that can be completed. There’s also an online mode for competing against up to 12 players, a Livery Editor for customizing stickers and liveries for each car, Time Attack to compete for the best times and the Track Builder for customizing and creating one’s own tracks along with racing on community-built tracks. It sports different events and other features, key among them being boss fights. It also doesn’t hurt that the tracks themselves look incredibly sharp and detailed.Ĭareer Mode seems a given in any racing game and Hot Wheels Unleashed is no different. Then again, this is a Hot Wheels title so you’ll be launching off of ramps, driving through loops and using boost to get ahead while also drifting around corners, overtaking opponents and avoiding obstacles (like T-Rex Escape, a figure which spews fire). They also have their own individual stats for handling, acceleration and so on while some manner of realistic physics is at play (cars can sometimes be on the verge of tipping over due to the sheer amount of force exerted, reinforcing their status as toys). Each car is created at 1:1 scale which means you’ll be racing them like they’re actual vehicles. Hot Wheels Unleashed is a mix of the two genres though, aiming to recreate the joys of racing one’s miniature vehicles across over-the-top tracks. ![]() Many racing games these days, whether they’re realistic or arcade-like, aim to provide true-to-life renditions of real cars. We're here to talk about season three and what we can expect from the currently unconfirmed third instalment. If viewers allow, I would love to see it develop even up to season 10."īut that's currently a distant dream. "The cast and crew all have great chemistry, and there's so much more to tell. "Strangely enough, Kingdom is a series that gives me more energy the more I write it," she said. That said, she told The Hollywood Reporter that she has enough ideas to span a whole lot further than three seasons. However, I do feel that it is nearly impossible to create something that, if you show the content to 100 people, all of them love it. Speaking about the level of anticipation for season three, Kim said, "I would be lying if there’s no pressure. Because it is such an overarching story with a long timeline, when you actually look at the chronological aspect of it, I felt that rather than incorporate it into the third season, it would be more audience-friendly and conducive for higher quality content if we were to offer it as a special episode." "When you look at the story behind Ashin (the character), it is a very long and complex story. So regardless of whether it is Joseon or another country, I think the people who are dominated have that same feeling (of Han). "And then I came to think of the northern part of Joseon and the ones who are actually dominated by these people. And in the previous seasons, it’s usually focused on the dominating power such as Prince Chang and the established people who lead the story. Yes, I always wanted to write a story about the feeling of Han. It’s kind of like getting a cut in your gut. She explained: "Han is the unforgettable feeling of anguish and hurtfulness. Writer Kim Eun-hee also underlined the importance of the special episode, describing it as "the beginning of everything, the root of it all". Through new characters and new situations, new conflicts arise, and I think that is what motivates us to go to the next season and that’s why I said it was like a stepping stone." "'Ashin of the North', the special episode, goes back to the entire reason of why these themes occur. And in order to leap to season three, I thought something new was needed. "So through Kingdom seasons one and two, topics like thirst for power, hunger, bloodlines were covered. After all, Netflix was confident enough to order season two before the first chapter even dropped, so it's only a matter of time before the royal decree is passed.ĭirector Kim Seong-hun explained that 'Ashin of the North' exists as a bridge into the third season (via Philstar) If the season two finale or the ' Ashin of the North' special were anything to go by, then it won't be long until Kingdom is officially renewed for even more episodes. "It was yet another opportunity for us to learn that when it comes to good quality content, language and culture aren't going to stop ," (via Cosmopolitan). "Oh my god! It was completely unexpected and I was very pleased and very honored to have Kingdom, or something that is very, very familiar to us, be so loved by global audiences. The Cho Hak-ju actor Ryu Seung-ryong admits to being surprised by the show's success: Under such circumstances, it was nearly impossible for a zombie show in which zombies can only be stopped by decapitation to be made into a drama series." "Needless to say, gory scenes that show harming of dead bodies were taboo. In Korea, TV dramas are usually aired on the so-called public broadcasting stations, and these channels are usually watched by families, meaning that shows are usually rated lower for a wider audience and are evaluated with stricter rules. "Before Train to Busan, even in the film industry, the dominant notion was that the zombie genre was a niche genre that appealed to only a small group of fans," Kingdom writer Kim Eun-hee told The Hollywood Reporter. The zombie-show-slash-period-drama puts The Walking Dead to shame when it comes to rabid pacing and genuine scares, so much so that there was a very real possibility that the series would never see the light of day. Outside of South Korea, Netflix has steadily become the best place to watch Korean TV, and the jewel in its crown is Kingdom. ![]() Compare Standard and Premium Digital here.Īny changes made can be done at any time and will become effective at the end of the trial period, allowing you to retain full access for 4 weeks, even if you downgrade or cancel. ![]() Browse bicycle light products to find options including USB rechargeable lights. If you toss and turn or snore during the night, your sleep tracker app will pick up on it. Because sleep trackers monitor when you go to sleep and when you wake up, tracking your sleep may help you become more conscious about your sleep habits and encourage you to establish a routine. When you’re awoken during this stage, you’re more likely to wake up faster and feel fresher. Some sleep tracker apps that can distinguish between light and deep stages are equipped with a special alarm that wakes you up when you’re in the light sleep stage. Once you identify the problem, you’ll be able to course-correct and get a better night’s sleep. One of the biggest benefits of tracking your sleep is that you’ll recognize the habits affecting your sleep cycle over time. Just be careful not to put too much pressure on yourself. Sleep trackers can help you maximize your sleep quality and duration. If you’re on the fence about tracking your sleep, here are some reasons to consider it: Not only that, but the technology behind these sleep tracker apps is only going to continue to advance year by year. If you already suffer from sleep anxiety or insomnia, this fixation can hinder your ability to fall asleep and exacerbate your condition.Īlthough researchers have debated the accuracy of sleep trackers, the Smart Sleep Tracking Device market value is projected to exceed $31 billion by 2026, which means the apps are here to stay. Some people who rely on sleep tracker apps may become preoccupied with maximizing their sleep duration and optimizing their results. For example, even if you’re lying in bed and reading, some trackers may take your inactivity to mean that you’re sleeping.Īnother drawback to tracking sleep is that it might unintentionally contribute to insomnia. One of the biggest criticisms of these apps is they primarily rely on movement to decide whether or not you’re asleep. The accuracy of sleep trackers is a hotly contested topic in the scientific community. This might include your physical activity, food choices, the time you eat, how much coffee or alcohol you drank, smoking habits, and more. Some sleep trackers may ask you to document the things you’ve done during the day to assess how it affects your sleep. Your own choices can have an impact on the quality of your sleep. ![]() If you wake up often in the middle of the night, the sleep tracker might provide data to show that it happens because your room is too warm. Some sleep trackers can also track the temperature of your room. The microphone may detect snoring, sleep apnea, and how often you move around during the night. One of the most common features of sleep trackers is a built-in microphone that captures sounds that may be interrupting your sleep. Some sleep trackers monitor your environment to assess how external factors, such as noise, temperature, and light, impact your sleep. During REM sleep, your heart rate may vary, depending on the intensity of the dream.īy measuring the changes in your heart rate, sleep tracker apps can help you understand whether you’re getting the sleep you need to function at an optimal level. Your heart rate picks up again when you enter the sleep phase known as REM sleep, which is when you dream. As you drift off to sleep, your heart rate slows to its resting state and drops even more when you enter deep sleep. ![]() You might already know that your heart rate slows when you fall asleep, but research has shown that it fluctuates as you enter different sleep stages. When it comes to tracking sleep, information about your heart rate can provide valuable insight into the amount of time you spend in each sleep cycle. Many wearable tracking monitors have built-in heart rate monitors, which is true for sleep tracking devices, as well. For instance, if you toss and turn throughout the night, the accelerometer picks up on the movement and uses it to analyze your sleep quality. It also uses movement as the basis for judging the overall quality of your sleep. Most sleep tracker apps are equipped with accelerometers, which are small motion detectors.Īn accelerometer assumes that you’re asleep if you’re inactive. Sleep trackers use movement to determine whether you’re asleep. ![]() But how do sleep trackers work, exactly? The features might vary depending on the app, but let’s take a look at how sleep trackers monitor your sleep. The best sleep tracker apps can measure the duration and quality of your sleep along with a few other factors, such as how much time you spend in each of the sleep stages. ![]() This is usually due to laceration of the radial sensory nerves during a volar surgical approach. They can make reduction difficult and may require surgical repair to avoid chronic instability.īranches of the radial nerve are the most common neurovascular structures to get injured. The extensor carpi ulnaris, extensor digiti minimi, and flexor pollicis longus tendons are the most common to become entrapped with Galeazzi fractures. Muscle-tendon entrapment may occur with significant injuries. Other notable complications include acute compartment syndrome (pre- and post-surgical), radioulnar synostosis (1% to 6%), elbow stiffness from protracted immobilization (adults), myositis ossificans, ulnohumeral osteoarthritis, and wound infections (0% to 3%). As time passes without the correct identified diagnosis, the more difficult it becomes to manage the injury, and the patient is more likely to have significant morbidity.įorearm midshaft fractures have malunion or nonunion occurring in approximately 2% to 10% of cases, which is higher than the average forearm fracture nonunion rate (2%). Children usually fare better than their adult counterparts. It is estimated that the overall complication rates of Galeazzi fractures are close to 40%. The complexity of Galeazzi fractures leads to a variety of outcomes. Injury to the anterior interosseous nerve can cause paralysis of the flexor pollicis longus and flexor digitorum profundus to the index finger, resulting in loss of the pinch mechanism between the thumb and the index finger 5. A purely motor nerve, the anterior interosseous nerve is a division of the median nerve. Galeazzi fracture dislocation is confirmed on radiographic evaluation.įorearm trauma may be associated with compartment syndrome.Īnterior interosseous nerve palsy may also be present, but it is often overlooked because there is no sensory component to this finding. Pain and soft-tissue swelling are present at the distal-third radial fracture site and at the wrist joint. These fractures occur with a bimodal distribution, diaphyseal forearm fractures in young males are commonly due to high-energy trauma (e.g., sports injuries, falls from height, motor vehicle collisions) and fractures in aging females are due to low-energy traumas such as falls from ground level 4. The energy from the radius fracture gets transmitted towards the radioulnar joint leading to dislocation of the distal radioulnar joint. The cause of the Galeazzi fracture is thought to be a fall on an outstretched hand in association with hyper-pronation of the forearm. Distally the radius connects with the lunate and scaphoid bones of the wrist. The proximal radial head articulates with the capitellum of the humerus (radiocapitellar joint), rotating within the annular ligament during pronation and supination. Distally the ulnar head serves as an insertion point for the triangular fibrocartilage complex, supplementing the distal radioulnar joint. Proximally the ulna consists of the olecranon and coronoid. The radiocapitellar joint largely stabilizes the proximal forearm while the triangular fibrocartilage complex predominantly supports the distal forearm. The interosseous membrane is responsible for dispersing axial load force to the forearm, 60% to the radiocapitellar joint and 40% to the ulnohumeral joint. The radius and ulna are stabilized by three groups of ligamentous structures: distally the triangular fibrocartilage complex, the interosseous membrane, and proximally the annular ligament. The forearm is composed of the radius and ulna bones. In Galeazzi-equivalent fractures, ulnar physeal arrest is frequent, seen in 55% of cases. distal radius: Kirschner wires (K-wires).metaphyseal-diaphyseal junction: plate and screw. The exact mode of fixation depends on the location of the radial fracture 3: Galeazzi fracture dislocation are unstable and operative fixation is usually required to reduce and fix the radial fracture, with arm immobilization in pronation 3. Although Galeazzi fracture patterns are reportedly uncommon, they are estimated to account for 7% of all forearm fractures in adults 2. Galeazzi fractures are primarily encountered in children, with a peak incidence at age 9-12 years 2. Galeazzi fractures account for 3-7% of all forearm fractures. Volar Galeazzi: volar (anterior) ulna displacement.Dorsal Galeazzi: dorsal ulna displacement.Galeazzi fractures can be classified by the direction of the ulna displacement: A Galeazzi-equivalent fracture is a distal radial fracture with a distal ulnar physeal fracture 1.
